He uri tēnei no Ngāti Raukawa, no Ngaruahine.
Emma and her partner Rob recently moved home to the Kapiti Coast where they live with their 4 tamariki.
Emma was employed as Kaihautū of the Foundation in August 2019. Emma has a legal and consulting background being fortunate enough to have worked for boutique kaupapa Māori legal/consulting firms in her career. She is the current deputy chair of Raukawa ki te Tonga Trust.
"The Foundation has grown its asset base considerably since inception. Growth has been exponential in the last 2 years under the leadership of the Board and the management of Jack Morris. This has allowed the Foundation to make significant distributions to Te Wānanga o Raukawa and the three Founding Iwi. My long-term desire for the Foundation is for it to continue to give back at the same rate at which it grows its putea. I want to see a direct correlation between the educational and reo Māori growth of our people and the contribution of the Foundation to this".
